CONFERENCE AND INTERNATIONAL NETWORKING

The Eco-Clothing Collection project actively engages in professional discourse on sustainable fashion, textile design, and the circular economy. We share experiences across disciplines and seek new perspectives on how clothing behaves over time, how its value is created, and how textiles and garments can be designed to last longer. We present our findings at conferences, expert panels, and student forums where researchers, designers, technologists, and industry representatives from the Czech Republic and abroad come together.

Our goal is not merely to share data, but to raise questions: How long can a garment last? What truly determines its durability? How can science, design, and technology together contribute to a more sustainable way of dressing? It is precisely this exchange of experiences across disciplines that pushes the boundaries between art, science, and industry—and enables us to seek out production models that are both long-lasting and environmentally responsible.

STRUTEX 2026

In 2026, we are organizing a specialized section titled "Ecological and Circular Approaches in Fashion Design" as part of the international STRUTEX conference, hosted by the Faculty of Textiles at TUL. This section will introduce a new format connecting design thinking, materials research, and industrial practice. The goal is to open a dialogue between researchers, creators, and manufacturers — to share data, experiences, and proven methods that can move the textile and apparel industry toward sustainable and long-lasting solutions.

Date: 4.- 6. November 2026
